Jay has worked at Flex Physiotherapy since 2012 and has a true passion for helping patients with complex and chronic pain problems of the spine (neck and low back), as well as shoulder, elbow and nerve pain. He has recently been working with a host of award winning power lifters and body builders who are travelling from all over the Perth region to access his expertise with their specific needs.

Jay is an Australian Physiotherapy Association Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and manages patients with complex and chronic conditions where the standard medical care has failed. He has a passion for research-backed management, not always to offer a quick fix, but aiming for lasting, long-term change for his patients.  He often schedules longer consultations to allow his patients to tell their pain story in detail, without feeling rushed.  Overall, his patients require fewer consultations and become better at self-management, saving them time and money.

In 2018 Jay commenced his PhD at Curtin University, continuing in his search for further knowledge and expertise as an evidence-based physiotherapist. He continues to consult at Flex Physio on a part-time basis, but patients may need to book ahead to avail themselves of his limited available time.  He also works at Curtin University in a teaching and supervising capacity for both postgraduate and undergraduate students. He is the Chair of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia WA and is the WA state delegate for the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia national committee.
